You will pay a little bit more for this netbook than for some others, but unless you only do email, you also can’t usually replace your laptop with a netbook. Many users say that’s exactly what they are doing with the Toshiba NB305-N600.
Upgrading the RAM from 1GB to 2 GB is easy. Using a Phillips screwdriver, take the screws from the RAM cover, pop out the 1 GB RAM and slide in the 2 GB, replace the screws, and that’s it. Unless you are using some heavy duty programs it’s unlikely you will need to upgrade the RAM, but rest assured it’s very doable and only takes a few minutes.
When I compare the features on the laptop I am replacing to what I can get in a netbook, not only is this netbook less than a quarter of what I paid for my laptop 3 years ago, it has far more capacity than my laptop, including a 250GB hard drive to the 100GB on my laptop. Since I don’t have problems watching videos on my laptop I doubt that I will have any problems watching them on the Toshiba, and certainly users don’t report any problems.

For a third of the price I am going to get something that is much more productive and feature loaded. What more could I ask? The Toshiba 10.1-Inch NB305-N600 Netbook is excellent value for money as it is, when I know it’s going to save me from getting another laptop I can’t even begin to calculate its value. Just being able to carry it around with ease is a major plus.
