I truly don’t know why they called this netbook a mini – unless it was to liken it to a mini laptop. It comes equipped with the Atom N455 processor and also the DDR3; both of these together give you read/write speed that is twice as fast as other netbooks with the Atom N450 and the DDR2. Unfortunately it is impossible to upgrade these two features as they change the configuration for the pins on the connectors each time they upgrade. The only way to get the additional speed is to upgrade your netbook.
The addition of an anti-glare screen is a nice touch because, when travelling, you can’t guarantee what kind of light you will have – especially when you are traveling in sunny climates and trying to work on the beach.
There is lots of pre-loaded software on the HP Mini 110-3530 Netbook , normally I recommend deleting it as most people don’t need all the free trial software that is loaded. There is a lot to like in the HP Mini 110-3530NR Netbook. The only downsides I see to the HP mini netbook are the lack of expandability of the RAM – you are stuck with 1 GB, only 1 USB port (get a USB hub) and, the weight.
